Somewhere in between


Summer season is over! (at least here in the Philippines), time to grab some sweaters and pullovers for the cold season a.k.a rainy season. Since this is a tropical country, there seems to have a love-hate relationship between our weather. You come look outside your window and its raining so hard, and the next thing you'll know it's already scorching hot again and the cycle repeats at least thrice a day which started to annoy me. I never get to decide on what kind of outfit to wear for the inconsistent and very moody weather.


Luckily, last week, H&M held their 3-day Sale and my mom got the chance to haul some brand new clothes for me! *squeals* she bought various tops which are mostly "basic" and this knitted top was a stand-out for me and is one of my faves. It is a light-type of sweater which is so comfy, plus sooo chic with its back deets. Perfect for the cold-hot weather ;)

Plains n' Grids



Summer classes are officially over! Finally had the time to go out and unwind just a week before my semester starts. I definitely deserve this after all the stress and cramming that I have drowned into in the past months, it was totally a struggle.



Given the striking summer heat, which makes it more irritating to go outside since I'm not a fan of sun bathing and the like, it took me a while to pick out my outfit. I first thought of putting on some jeans and a black top but naaah, I won't feel comfy in them since it's hot. I finally decided to go for some skorts and a cropped top with a lighter shade (of black lol) plus my latest pair of croc skin slip-ons that gave my ootd a touch of edge & street-style.




Strolling around the city made comfortable with my slip ons! I sooo love them *heart eyes emoji* and to fight sunlight - the fashionable way, yasss to sunnies. Mine was bought by my mom and I love how it perfectly suits my face shape - which is round. It was then that I realized people with round-shaped faces should wear sunnies with pointed edges or square-y in shape to lessen the emphasis on the roundess of the face. Geez, thanks mom!

JUST THE BASICS


Our university's summer vacay has just begun but instead of boring myself at home I decided to take advance classes this summer. A few months from now I will be a graduating student and I don't want to waste any time, I gotta be productive. Given a short time for vacation, my clique and I decided to bond at an Art Museum somewhere in Antipolo. 




In picking out outfits one should always remember that comfort always goes on top of the list. Before I plan outfits I always consider the place I'm going to, the type of event, and the weather (well, weather's mostly sunny here in the Philippines so...) Knowing it's summer I have come up with this simple ensemble. Comfy yet stylish! You can never go wrong with basics.

I know I have been using this excuse to almost every event: SCHOOL. I'm not a geek or anything but I have set this one on top of my list of priorities. Anyway, this will be a late post and by late, I mean three-months-late post hah! can you guess how busy I have become during the semester?

My semester has just ended and I'm sooo happy and excited for summer break (not to mention my summer classes) it's the time of the year to go out and have adventures with your friends and/or family, dye your hair, drink fruit shakes while skinny dippin' on the pool, or even eat a box of pizza while laying on bed watching chick flick movies all day!
These were actually taken last Holiday break! And I only had the time to post it this summer break woah. Well obviously, I love black. Black for me is such a happy color and I love how it could go well with any other colors like you can go with black & white, black & gray, or even a black on black outfit for a more edgy look.

And guess what, this whole ensemble (including the shoes) costs only Php1000! Hah, talk about cheap finds!
