JUST THE BASICS

Our university's summer vacay has just begun but instead of boring myself at home I decided to take advance classes this summer. A few months from now I will be a graduating student and I don't want to waste any time, I gotta be productive. Given a short time for vacation, my clique and I decided to bond at an Art Museum somewhere in Antipolo.

In picking out outfits one should always remember that comfort always goes on top of the list. Before I plan outfits I always consider the place I'm going to, the type of event, and the weather (well, weather's mostly sunny here in the Philippines so...) Knowing it's summer I have come up with this simple ensemble. Comfy yet stylish! You can never go wrong with basics.

Cafe Shibuya

One of my favorite things to do aside from traveling, is discovering new cafes. I'm a foodie and caffeine is my drug. I have a thing for coffee, tea, sweets, and pastries especially red velvet and cheesecakes! Before the month of March ended, my bestie and I decided to hang out and chill at Cafe Shibuya's new branch at Trinoma.

The cafe is actually open, located along the mall's hallway. The staff were very accommodating and the place is neat and cutesy in their wooden chairs and tables - korean style. Not to mention their newspaper-style Menu, very creative!

We got dessert toasts in three different flavors: Mango caramel, Strawberry matcha, and Ferrero hazelnut. Sounds mouth watering eh? well indeed they are! Cafe Shibuya has been famous with their toasts because of its uniqueness. Compared to normal toasts these are bigger, and tastier! Plus they have a wide variety of toasts to choose from.

To go with our toasts we also had Matcha green tea frappe and not included in the picture, we also tried their Summer garden pasta which is a basil pasta topped with mozzarella, tomatoes, and bed of olive oil. It's a little spicy for me but nevertheless the pasta was great.

blackout

I know I have been using this excuse to almost every event: SCHOOL. I'm not a geek or anything but I have set this one on top of my list of priorities. Anyway, this will be a late post and by late, I mean three-months-late post hah! can you guess how busy I have become during the semester?

My semester has just ended and I'm sooo happy and excited for summer break (not to mention my summer classes) it's the time of the year to go out and have adventures with your friends and/or family, dye your hair, drink fruit shakes while skinny dippin' on the pool, or even eat a box of pizza while laying on bed watching chick flick movies all day!
These were actually taken last Holiday break! And I only had the time to post it this summer break woah. Well obviously, I love black. Black for me is such a happy color and I love how it could go well with any other colors like you can go with black & white, black & gray, or even a black on black outfit for a more edgy look.

And guess what, this whole ensemble (including the shoes) costs only Php1000! Hah, talk about cheap finds!

After a looooong hiatus, I'm finally back! I have failed to update my blog for almost a year due to tons of school works. Anyway, thanks to the holiday break I finally got the time to catch up with my girlfriends, besties, and former classmates way back highschool. Surely missed hanging out with them! It's been quite a while. Of course, I will never let my holiday break pass by without getting to bond with these two!

(from left to right) Angelica, Caroline, and yours truly

These two have been my blogger besties ever since! We have a circle of friendship (consisting of 8) but these two are the ones whom I can relate on in terms of fashion, blogging, and everything in between. And to suffice our sartorial & blogger needs (the what? lol) we decided to bond-slash-shoot at Global City.

As for the shoot that I have mentioned, tune in for my next blogpost for the photoshoot outcomes! So excited to blog about it, I just have to fix some things on my blog and still have some school works (yep, again) to accomplish. You know, first things first! ;)

We had some slight difficulties during this shoot because of  some DSLR technical probs (which resulted to some crappy photos) but all in all, it was fun!

And of course... Selfies!!!

After strolling around the streets of Global City we have decided to chill at Aura and eat. What I love about my clique is that we are fond of trying out different food stalls, shops, cafes, and the like. And so, we decided to eat first at Shine Bakery & Cafe.

The place is good, the interior is nice and cute! And the food is delish too! Next on our list was The Royal Touch.

For a cupcake / pastry / sweets lover like me, I must say, their cupcakes are the best! Totally! I had their salted caramel cheesecupcake and I was blown away by how it tasted. T'was perfect! even their red velvet cupcake is a must try!

We took more photos at the rooftop because the lighting and view was pretty good...

Tune in for my upcoming posts!

And here's a "pa-cool" pose to end up my post. Ciao!

TIPS FOR A BETTER INSTAGRAM FEED

So, instagram's a hit and is enormously popular serving over hundreds of millions of people around the globe! It took photo-sharing into the next level and is one of the most-used social media apps alongside twitter and facebook. I, personally, love instagram and I make sure to update my feed at least twice or thrice a week. It is also one of the reasons why I was deeply drowned by my love for photography. And like some (if not many) people, I have struggles too in maintaining my instagram feed (I want it to have an element of uniformity and such).
